WFRW Members are Enjoying the Benefits of Participation and the Rewards of Action!

Welcome to the web site of the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women, one of the largest and most influential women’s political organizations in the state. We have been a state affiliate of the National Federation of Republican Women, since 1940, and are part of the NFRW approximate 95,000 nationwide membership.

When meeting other WFRW women, in our local clubs across the state, you'll find many become wonderful, personal and even life long friends.  Our clubs hold local prominence and have the clout to attract political speakers to engage us and harness our grassroots energies!  Elected Officials and candidates are eager for our input, our voices, our votes, and our influence.

You'll find working with others on a campaign is most invigorating!  Your vote is critical, but we know we can compound our votes exponentially through our volunteer efforts on local, state and national campaigns ~ through the group effort of our clubs!  It's as if each of our votes is multiplied by a hundred-fold!

Our women truly feel that we are helping to advance the less advantage in our communities through the efforts of our clubs.  A sole donor's time and effort could not accomplish these things, but together we can.  And, it does feel ever so good to do good!

The Wisconsin Federation is a grassroots organization with some of the most talented grassroots women in the state serving as part of the WFRW Team with a current membership of 1,100 plus and 22 local clubs. We help to strengthen the Republican Party by increasing their volunteer base, by recruiting and electing candidates that advocate the Party’s philosophy and initiatives. We empower women of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds, through education, to become part of the political process.

Please take the opportunity to join our membership and browse our web site.  Part of our web site continues to be "under construction." Please contact us if we can help you in any way or for more reasons to get involved in our organization.  Thank You for your interest!

Washington, DC, May 8 -   As Memorial Day quickly approaches and the summer driving season looms, gas prices will be on the minds of many Americans -- especially when paying an average of $3.71 per gallon in Milwaukee this week.  But despite the soaring price of gasoline, Congress has so far refused to let go of a mistaken policy that is having wide ranging negative implications, stretching from the gas tank to the supermarket shelf: the ethanol...more
Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family (FOTF), has been a frequent critic of Sen. John McCain and his voting record, throughout this campaign.  Dobson still refuses to say that he will vote for McCain in frequent media appearances, unlike most other conservative leaders.  Dr. Dobson should stop criticizing our likely nominee, Sen. McCain, today.  It was fine for Dobson to try to influence primary voters/FOTF members to support a...more

One of President George W. Bush’s greatest achievements is the transformation of the Federal judiciary, at the district and appellate court levels.  During the 2000 and 2004 campaigns, President Bush promised to appoint conservative judges, using power granted to him in Article I, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution: “ [The President] shall have the power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make treaties …; and He shall nominate...more
Subject: Can't be quiet any longer     I have had enough and am going to give my perspective on the news about Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Please understand that I am speaking for myself and I am responsible for my thoughts alone.
