Wisconsin Right to Life Political Action Committee Announces Endorsement of Mark Green for Governor

April 11, 2006 The Wisconsin Right to Life Political Action Committee (WRTL/PAC) this morning announced its enthusiastic endorsement of Mark Green, Republican candidate for Governor.

In announcing the endorsement, WRTL/PAC Chair Bonnie Pfaff said "Our organization is extremely proud to endorse this exceptional candidate who so strongly believes in the sanctity of all human life."

"Prior to serving the people of the 8th Congressional District in the U. S. House of Representatives, Mark Green was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly," continued Pfaff. "Both in Congress and in the state legislature, Mark Green was a leader and advocate on behalf of the most defenseless members of the human family. He is an individual who has served his constituents with great distinction and integrity throughout his distinguished political career."

Mark Green is challenging pro-abortion incumbent Democrat Governor James Doyle. Doyle supports abortion on demand throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy and has vetoed numerous right to life bills.

"When it comes down to which candidate respects the lives of the most vulnerable among us, the voters of Wisconsin will have a clear choice in November," said Pfaff. "Doyle is radically pro-abortion and strongly opposes any restrictions whatsoever on the destruction of unborn human life. Green strongly believes that human life deserves to be protected. The choice for voters couldn't be clearer."
