Lakeland Area Republican Women’s Club

Since the majority of the club members are “snowbirds”, the club has 5 luncheon meetings a year on the third Wednesday of the month May through September. There is a speaker featured at each meeting with political, civic or charitable topics.

The club is involved in many community projects. The most ambitious project to date is helping the Wisconsin Camp American Legion in Lake Tomahawk refurbish one of the cabins (cabin #15) to welcome veterans and their families to a place of peace and healing. Club members have collected over $3,000.00 as well as furniture and decorative items, including making handmade quilts to be used for the project.
