Republican Women of Dane County

← Back to Local Clubs

Our club is fast growing and very active. Living in Dane County is not always easy and our members enjoy being with other like-minded, women.

When we are not in the year of COVID, we generally hold 10 luncheons a year with great speakers. We average 50 members and guests at each luncheon. Once a month we hold Ladies at the Range. Twice a year we hold New Member Teas which has been a great addition to our schedule. In Dec we sing Christmas Carols in the State Capital.

Last year we had about 30 members present and staff and legislators often stop to join us.

This year we have gone outside the box and since July, have been holding Pro-Police Caravans. We put signs on our cars, wave flags, honk horns through communities and then stop at the police stations with treats and notes of thank you and encouragement. The police love it and the movement is growing with 15-25 cars in each caravan. The goal is to do a caravan in every community in Dane County.
